Took this Mount Kinabalu photos from the sky on my way from Kota Kinabalu to Tawau… I guess it is at 15,000 feet or more.

Mengkabong River

Took these photos on Saturday, 19 October 2008 from Mengkabong River Bridge. We parked our vehicle near the bridge and took the risk to walk along the bridge which has no walking path… just plain road. It’s quite dangerous…

That day, I only carried my Sony T200 camera and it runs out of battery after taking loads of photos at 1Borneo’s Big Boyz Toys Show. I took this photos using my HTC TyTn camera phone. I don’t like to use phone camera… but the rusult turn out to be quite spectacular

This is my backup camera and for mobility too (in meeting or conference room for ‘spying’ the projected presentation on screen). Previously I was using the Casio Exilim S500 which has 3x optical zoom and has extendable lens. T200 has 5x optical zoom and has internal Carl Zeiss lens which is very cool.

Unfortunately the zoom switch is too close to the edge and very small too for my big finger. I think this is more like a lady camera. And the location of the lens at the edge of the left side is a bit exposed. Sometimes my finger will accidentally cover some part of the lens. This is a major problem when I asked someone to take photos. If I forgot to tell them to be careful with their finger, their finger will be captured.
